My first year at University, I was playing Zappa for the black dudes on my hall and they in turn introduced me to Larry Graham and GCS. We, needless to say, hit it off.
Mr. Graham was one of the reasons I got into music as a kid, CB - the style that he invented keeps the jam going...and sometimes saves the bacon of those who have overdrawn their idea bank.
