DB, ya led me on a round of Correa, Purim et al youtubes that took me about two hours to get thru.
I'm lookin at about 300 vinyls in my living room, in some cabinets, knowing that Light As A Feather, Flora's debut album, and many, many others are in there.
Stanley Turrentine, Freddy Hubbard, more Clarke, more Chick, Billy Cobham, yes I LOVED Mangione who could NOT love Esther Satterfield and Land Of Make Believe? Or Children Of Sanchez?
Clifford Brown, Ray Brown. On and on and on with those who came before them. I've got live albums I can't even NAME all the artists anymore, stuff cut in the late 60's and the early to mid 70's.
Thanks for making me hear the jazz. I been all acoustikated on grass, new and blue, americana, and such for a while now, had forgotten how bitchen Flora Purim put it to San Francisco River, 500 Miles High, and more.
Soaring, epic like Esther on Make Believe.
Damn.
Damn I'd forgotten how good all that jazz was in the early 70's.
Thanks for the slap up the head, hoss. Guess I gotta go digitize my stash . . . wonder where I could sell the vinyl when I'm done?

This album was my favorite make-out record in college. "Blow by Blow" by Jeff Beck was a close second.
Nice video. I have heard this song thousands of times but it is cool to see it played, thanks!
