If he hadn't died last year, my father in-law would have spent the last month selling poppies for the Legion.
As a veteran myself? I always prefer the idea of celebrating Armistice day.
I got an email today from President Obama thanking me for my service.(A mass mailer, no doubt) I would prefer to receive the news that the men and women are coming home. For good.
Thanks, db. I figured you'd do something. (I wrote a series of posts for 11/11.)
In the hopes there is no need someday to mourn the fallen.
