By the way, did you know that September 27–October 4 is National Banned Books week?

So which book do we burn after we've incinerated the Constitution?

Thanks for the link...

A teacher friend of mine told me that
"The Great Gatsby" was banned by the school (9th grade)
Parents complained it was on a reading list.

and yes, it was in Texas.

At what temperature will our books burn?

I think we need to ban the Bible for a few generations. I kid, I kid...

DB- this made me remember something from my time in the UK- 1976-1986.

And, how things have changed. Britain had and still has an "Official Secrets Act". Deal was, back then (pre- or at the dawning of the internet) that UK reporters would phone US libraries and librarians for information what was available in the US, but not in the UK, because of their OSA.

What no snarks on Canadian politics? I hear it's getting interesting up there. Of course we have enough keeping track of this circus.

Will pass this on to librarian friends.

It's tough to find snark out of Canadian politics, Demeur.

Either way, 'Natural Governing Party' or native crop of Right-wing bedbugs and bumboys, it's more of the same in Canucklestan...America's largest exporter of snowbacks.
