She's wonderful. I'd rather less synth, but I'm a bit of purist. Canadian? Friend of yours?

Indeed, Utah, Ivana is Canadian but not a friend, however - I just like the track. I was already on my way out of the industry when she was coming up.

Does everyone know about your history in the music industry but me?

No. I was more interested in being a musician, as opposed to a star. The powers that be couldn't understand why - 'all that grooming, why can't this peon just be grateful' - and I had no interest in explaining.
As Ahmet Ertegun once opined to an acquaintance, 'You can't imply anything to morons.'

For that (and other personal reasons) I banished myself to the dustbin of history.
It's not a point of focus for blogging purposes, except for the occasional semi-relevant anecdote.

What's your instrument? Your voice? Your words? You're way too articulate and smart to say so little. Why do you reveal so little about yourself?

'Why do you reveal so little about yourself?'

Well, beyond the fact that I find myself fundamentally uninteresting as a discussion topic to participate in, there are minor matters of personal security.

You and I have a relatively short history in terms of correspondence and blogging, Utah. Those who have observed me over a longer time may remember certain controversies regarding my works which engendered somewhat negative attention from certain quarters, attentions which I would not care to repeat given the climate of armed instability and general lack of inhibitions regarding the harassment of those with differing opinions which hangs over your country.
However, if such types should deign to create a bother they will find me most eager and prepared to 'repel all boarders', as it were.

Besides...I suspect I'm subjectively more intriguing as a mystery. Aren't we all?

Well, I must be very dull indeed, then. I'm an open book.

Open books don't always give away their secrets, Utah.
