Sad to say, although their musical ability is unhampered the formula has taken over. The first time I saw the Peppers was in some dingy L.A. club in '83, and the last time I saw them was at Lollapalooza '92, not one of their better performances...My memories, however may be colored by having to fight my way out of the mosh one-handed with my spouse tucked under my arm as she wallowed in the throes of an anxiety attack brought on by crowd shock. Good times.

I saw them 3 times in the eighties, but you'd have to put me on a guest list to go to a show nowadays. And my "rider" looks like George Clinton's!
