Somebody gimme a cheeseburger

The only Steve Miller song you'll ever see on this blog - Living In The U.S.A., 1968.

My best wishes to all my American friends and acquaintances on the momentous day in your nation's history.

I am in my usually ignorant musical state. Don't you like Steve Miller?

He has cute hair, which is ALL I know, from just watching ;)

But, whoever made the YouTube snuck in some good visuals...

Well then, he has cute hair for the takeaway, VG.

The local classic rock formats of my youth were somewhat...weighted with certain artists. Mr. Miller was one of them, and regretfully has expended my available limit for subjective appreciation.

The Youtube, OTOH, has some wonderfully appropriate visuals...Quite evocative.

I feel the same way about SM, db. And while he churned out some nice pop ditties in the '70s, I saw him at the Shrine in around '68, with his lead singer Boz Scaggs, when it was the Steve Miller Blues Band.

They were Teh Suckā„¢.
