Cuz I Hear They Got Swagger

Congratulations are in order for my pal Max Bernstein (noted agitpop auteur of Max and The Marginalized fame), having recently completed a tour of duty in the Ke$ha army on their way to death or glory bestriding the Number One Express.

Enjoy the rocket ride, kids.

What is it about rappy-hoppy-ness

For myself, I don't put a lot of import into modern pop songs, for as the seer once said "Here today, gone later today'.
That said, Max is a good guy who (along with Dave and Jon) made some bangin' jams that said something about where we were going last decade. Their philosophy paralleled mine to some degree - 'Be concerned about the change and not the ca$h' - and unlike Morrissey, I don't hate it when my friends become successful. Everybody is a star, and they all need to shine sometime.

The music game is a rough business and if you're smart (unlike me) you take advantage of the breaks that are presented to you, because another one may never come. That's the way it is, baby.

Most of us have to work for a living, and don't always get to do what we love.

Max is very talented, and smart enough to take a gig with a high profile artist. NOTHING wrong with that.

Keep rocking, Max. And enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.
