Ted, Just Admit It

Snakeskin Cowboy

You used to kick out the jams, and I respect individuals who eschew drugs and alcohol in spite of peer and societal pressures.

But your expression of subjective political philosophy sucks gorilla ass...And your internal contradictions are starting to pile up faster than you can brush them away.

Stick to improving your fretwork for the public's edification, and begone.

Think Progress:

The Washington Post updates the progress of Bush’s “freedom agenda.”
Peter Baker writes, “Two and a half years after Bush pledged in his second inaugural address to spread democracy around the world, the grand project has bogged down in a bureaucratic and geopolitical morass, in the view of many activists, officials and even White House aides.”
Complaining about the influence of Cheney, one official tells the Post, “OVP [Office of Vice President] has this little-girl crush on strongmen.”

Rove: Bush’s critics are ’snobs’ who hate his ‘common sense.’

In his interview with Rush Limbaugh this afternoon, Karl Rove claimed that the people criticizing Bush are “sort of elite, effete snobs who can’t hold a candle to this guy.
What they don’t like about him is that he is common sense, that he is Middle America.

Limbaugh suggest that Bush critics are frustrated that the President “outsmarts ‘em.”

Rove argued Bush is far more intelligent than people give him credit for, and is “one of the best-read people I’ve ever met” whose “passion is history.”

Did you know (according to Rove in this interview) that Bush read 94 books last year...?
