Apparently, the latest plan by Tea Party 'thinkers' for overthrowing the oppressive liberal socialist fascism of the Kenyan Konquerer is to identify him to the unwashed and unlettered as some sort of sweet poofy dandy bent on a strapping young slave's revolt, followed by eyebrow waxing and Camomile-flavored moisturizing lip gloss.

Now, I could take the 17 minutes or so to render in some excruciatingly detailed fashion just what such a creature looks like outside the fever dreams of sexually frustrated conservatives with a neck-beard fetish (and for those types, have I got a wet dream for you), but who of us with any claim to an IQ over two perilously low digits really cares?

One of the primary driving forces behind the trifles displayed on this blog was the White House activities of everyone's favorite Christmas baby, Karl Rove. It seemed during those endlessly tumultuous years of Bush/Cheney global predation that there was no cynical strategy too low or devious for Karl to embark upon on behalf of his paymasters, all done in the noirish quest for obtaining and retaining the only thing fascists worship - power.
Rove has made numerous appearances on this blog, exhibiting unseemly behaviors best kept private...but I'm not ready to let him slink back into the shadows yet - and neither should you, America.

Recently, Sean Hannity (long a favorite subject of mine) entertained a guest who apparently dabbles in some sort of political/religious art sideline.
Normally, this would not hold much interest for me - been there done that, and so forth - but my ears pricked up when a matter involving exchange of lucre for one of the artist's creations was tendered, garnering a hard-filched fetish that Hannity will no doubt use as a goad on the filthy liberals that bedevil him so.
I certainly won't criticize the artist here, if for no other reason than he appears to be working the 'opposite corner of the boulevard' (so to speak), and a finger pointed usually gets three back (like Mom says)...So, good on you Jon McNaughton for gaffing such a well-heeled mark to foist your multiple metaphors upon.

Some of you who might possess a dwindling interest may be curious as to why a former fountain of productivity such as myself is no longer gushing forth trifles to while away the wait for the End, whatever that end may be.

Several reasons could be put forth, but for the purposes of this post one will suffice: that I saw things to come long ago, created a tawdry pastiche that summarized my perception of same at that time, and placed it for viewing before your naked steaming eyes to peruse. No need to belabor the deceased equine.

Like many (and perhaps most) artists, I am loathe to regurgitate previous concepts over and again, merely for the loot - although that certainly doesn't stop some who suffer under the creative impulse from doing so, bless their hearts.

That said, I have noted the ongoing trend among humanity to revisit a past with lessons unlearned for the perverse joy of refusing to learn those lessons yet again, one supposes.

And with that in mind, I offer an irregularly produced series of previous works, unearthed to illustrate the futility of a prompt answer to the muse's call.
